Finally! Something that works without chemicals and without me taking my drain apart. I have long hair and can't use a drain basket with the fixtures in my bathroom. I hate using strong chemical drain openers but, before this product, they were unavoidable whenever plunging stopped working.

This pulls out the hair, is pretty easy to store, is fast, and is easy. The only issue is that its grip decreases as soon as you use it due to gunk. So it has to be cleaned not just after using -- while using. But, this isn't a difficult task.

I'm only giving it four stars because I've only used it twice. So I don't know how long it will last.

This has, by far, worked better than any liquid drain "cleaner" I have ever used, and it's safer. This has definitely become a "must have" for me!

It picked a lot of hair from drainer. However, it got scratched while pulling out the drain.

I LOVE this thing! I tried all the usual home and store liquid remedies for slow draining sinks and shower drain and they didn't work. This thing is easily pushed into the drains without removing the stopper. It pulls out clogs from hair washing down the drains and getting stuck. It looks disgusting when it comes out - but you save a fortune doing it yourself for simple drain clogs that don't respond to liquid plumber or hot water and vinegar! :o) Just one con - probably can only use it a few times before needing a new one - but it's so cheap - who cares? :o)

Works very well clearing clogs in bathroom sinks. Removes hair and other debris very well, without having to remove the stopper. Eliminates the need for using harsh chemicals. Probably wouldn't work as well in the kitchen sink, where food items probably wouldn't stick to the velcro.

I bought this to clear our sink/'bathtub drains. Our bathroom drains were not draining well and I thought this would be a good alternative to using chemical drain cleaner. Boy, was I wrong! When using the Turbo Snake on our tub drain the velcro piece on the end got caught on something and broke off, taking most of the vinyl covering from the snake wire with it. My husband had to crawl into the access panel behind the tub to disconnect all the pipe fittings in order to remove the pieces of turbo snake from the drain. This is a piece of junk and waste of money!

My apartment management is very
particular about what can be used to remove a clog
from the drains. I personally hate the smell & long wait in-
volved with using Draino, so I decided to purchase Turbo
Snake.

Pros:
1. I loved the price
2. It really worked (once I was able to guide it down the drain)

Cons:
1. The main complaint that I have is the clean up!
The little piece on the end that actually removes the clog is just
velcro, so as you can imagine, you have to pull all of the gunk and
hair that it picks up off of it! Luckily, I wore rubber gloves!
I am just not so sure how many uses I can get out of it with the velcro at the end. I will say, within 5 min, the 1ft of water in my tub had magically disappeared & no problems since (its been 3 weeks)!
