its so hard to find a straight edged nail clipper these days! Even the largest toenail clippers have a curve to them, which is so bad for ingrown toenails. I think the catcher just gets in the way so I tossed it but I've had this one for a few years & its still going strong! I love this clipper!

imagine trimming your nails, and instead of the trimmed off pieces being buried in the plush carpet in the bathroom, trapped inside the plastic sleeve instead of poking your foot, this is a great buy. very sweet. slide the sleeve over MR garbage can with each trim, when it fills up it does not trim well, this is one fine trimmer

I was very disappointed. These clippers didn't come anywhere near being able to clip my toenails.

Got these clippers for my boyfriend's tough toenails but they can't even go through my thin nails. They are not sharp at all and have no power in the lever. Had to remove the plastic cover to make them work too.

I've purchased cheap clippers that do a better job so wish to have saved my money and purchased them. Forewarned is forearmed and maybe I got defective merchandise, but even if this was a matter of inconsistency it's not worth spending this much to find out. At today's postal rates they aren't worth returning.

These are by far the worst clippers I've ever used. They are flimsy and cheaply made, but worse, they can't cut even the thinnest nails much less a toenail. The plastic covering gets in the way also, but even with it removed they were hard to use. Waste of money. Wish I'd looked harder for these.

I am left-handed, and the fact that this clipper can be adjusted makes it the best clipper out there for lefties. It's a heavy duty clipper that delivers a straight cut cleanly and easily. Best clipper I've ever used. I even use it on fingernails. Highest recommendation on this--a must-buy for any left-handed person.

This is the best nail clipper I have bought. Strait and sharp cuts no matter if on fingers or toes. The strait edge is better than the curved. I am buying my second pair now because every time I go looking for them, my wife has taken them and I can't find them.

This is easier to use than ordinary toenail clippers. The blades are sharp & durable. The handle is longer, which gives you more leverage and therefore more clipping power, and also wider, so it's comfortable to use. It even worked well for my elderly father, who has very thick nails and arthritic hands. I've had mine for quite a while now, and no problems with durability. In fact, I gave mine to Dad and am buying another pair for myself.

I only gave this two stars because it did a good job the three times that I used it, (and only three times!). Then it broke and had to be thrown out. Definitely not worth the money!
