Perfect 2-in-1 combination tool for removing calluses and smoothing skin.
The unique "slide and lock" mechanism lets you safely conceal the shaver portion of the tool when not in use. Great for home and travel.
Clean and soak feet to prep and help soften hard skin. Gently glide shaver across hard skin to remove thin, dead layers. To smooth skin using rasp, simply press button on handle and slide shaver down into case. Use your fingernail in notch on bottom of handle to help slide shaver down, thus exposing the rasp. Once tool is locked in place, flip it and use rasp to smooth skin.
Give worn out feet the boot — reclaim soft, silky skin and naturally beautiful, manicured toes. With any pedicure, start by cleaning and then soaking tired tootsies in warm water with bath salts, your favorite essential oils or Epsom salt for around 10 minutes. The harder, more cracked or callused skin is, the longer feet and heels should soak until softened.
To ensure safety when removing product, open packaging from bottom. Blade is razor sharp. Handle with extreme care. Do not shave live skin. Diabetics or hemophiliacs should not use this tool.
This is the first callous shaver I have used. I never had issues with callous, but in recent years especially in summer I tend to get a lot of callous. I use this shaver to shave. It does shave a lot of the callous and is very safe. However, the blade keeps slipping, and it doesn't reach the area between or close to the toes due to its shape. Overall it doesn't get to the hardest hit areas. Also, it doesn't do as good a job as the podiatrist - my podiatrist removed callous using a blade and did such a fabulous job that it was that way for months. This one continuously needs work. I just wish it would get into areas closer to my toes because those portions have the most skin. I am still searching for the right product.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This callus shaver doesn't allow for enough of the blade to be exposed to function at its intended purpose. In other words, it's so safe that it does not shave! The rasp is also useless. I will have to go back to my old one. I was hoping to use this as a traveling tool but it isn't possible. Do not waste your money on this product.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Keeping hands away from blade, make sure tool is locked in place. To remove calluses, use on moist skin and gently draw shaver across callus in a shaving motion to remove thin layers of dead skin. Do not shave live skin. To smooth skin using rasp, firmly depress the button on handle and slide shaver down into case, being careful not to touch blade. (Note: There is a notch on the bottom of the handle for your fingernail to assist in sliding the shaver down into the handle and exposing the rasp). Once tool is locked in place, you can flip the tool and use rasp with back and forth motion to smooth skin.
How to Change Blade:
Lay on flat hard surface
Hold sides, push handle forward.
