I take them to prevent osteoporosis. I give them 3 stars because the packaging is less than satisfactory. I've had 2 broken bottles and one defective bottle in the year that I've been ordering them. This makes me wonder about the product itself. I hope the wafers don't reflect the poor quality of the bottles! It was the only chewable Calcium Citrate available. I guess I'll go back to regular Calcium. I also thought they were very expensive considering that I have to take twice as much of the Citrate as I do of the regular Calcium. Comments about Twinlab Calcium Citrate, 60 chewable wafers: I have been so pleased with drugstore.com. However, they still show the old pix of this product and it has changed. Not for the better in my opinion. The new chewables break easily and the bottle is also more apt to be broken. My adage is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I go through a bottle of pills in 10 days. These are the most economical for the money and I am kind of getting more used to them. Still prefer the old ones much more. They tried to change the formula about a year ago and had lots of complaints then. Hope that happens this time. Again, I am very satisfied with drugstore.com.
