First off, I LOVE THIS STUFF. Ultimate Cystic Acne CURE.

Short version:
It works. Do it. lol. But there is a system to taking B6 most effectively. Start off at 2 supplements(daily), then up your dosage per week. The first week you may* breakout SLIGHTLY. The b6 needs to get the impurities and yucky stuff out of your skin before it starts beautifying. [Some people quit early when they see the initial breakout! Wait it out! I swear its worth it.] After 3 months of up-ing your dose(recommended for mild acne/ those with more severe acne may need 6 months to see full results), you can slowly reduce it to a comfortable amount after clear skin is accomplished.
Also, I take these with/after a small meal. To avoid an upset tummy(as with all supplements) :)

Longer version with background story:
I have been suffering from cystic acne for around 6 years. For those who don't know what cystic acne is: not regular acne. Cystic pimples are large(sometimes like boils), swollen/ inflamed, deep and painful. They are almost impossible to treat and ALWAYS leave scars. :(
I was on a highly sugar-restricted diet. (>_> no more Snicker bars..) and the cystic pimples kept coming. I had tried a lot of things-- including Biotin(which can be a double edged sword).
I can honestly say, B6 gave me some serious/borderline miracle results. I started using B6 3 weeks ago, up-ing the dosage as I go. I have not had a cystic pimple since... not a single one. :)

I had heard that this was a useful supplement for migraines. The directions I was given were to take 2500mg of Pantothenaic Acid with 2500mg of Vitamin C (for absorption) at the onset of a migraine. Apparently it has worked for some, but not for me. I have had chronic migraines for years, I get them every day. So I guess I'll have to keep looking.

I've been taking these for about 2 weeks now, two in the morning, and two at night (plus a multivitamin, and Murad Pure Skin supplement). I've seen a great improvement in my skin! All my deep, under the skin, swollen acne has healed, and I haven't gotten any while taking this. (I usually have 3-6 on my face at a time.) I'm glad that I found pantothenic acid (B5) on drugstore because none of the mega marts around here have it.

I have an extremely hard time finding pantothenic acid capsules, so I was so glad to find these at Drugstore.com! I take them for healthy hear, skin, and nails.

I am 70 years old and suffered from sinus allergy in teens and 20s.. I read about Vitamin B5 giving relief. I started with 500mg tabs 4x a day and within a month I did no longer needed my allergy relief prescription. In mid life I cut back to 2x day and started getting severe headaches. Long story short and a food diary record show they are caused from food additives. I went back to 4x day and headaches ceased. B5 is a great natural allergy relief help and these are the easiest to take.

After taking these pills for a month my acne started going away and old scars healed. I have been on these pills (usually 10-12 pills a day) for well over a year and it's now very rare that I have any breakouts. I'd say it cleaned up about 90% of acne on my face and all of it on my back. Only side effect is occasional chapped lips.
