I use this loofah sponge in the shower. I love it. It is easy to hold, it holds just the right amount of soap and it stimulates your skin. It feels so good! I scrub with the loofah side and then sooth with the sponge. Best sponge I have ever had!

this sponge is for household use.... however i use it on my body with cleansing gel.... it is easy to hold and is great for getting rid of dead skin on a daily basis.... not too rough.... easy to hold and rinse out.... use it on arms elbows knees and legs.... GREAT PRICE ....

I have ichthyosis and my skin can become very dry, scaly and will easily build up. Exfoiliating is a daily, constant task for me. This really works well. When I first felt it, I didn't think it would do much, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has just enough roughness to slough off the hard, dry, flaky, scaly skin... leaves my skin feeling much better.

I was looking for a good natural loofah and thought this might work for cleansing myself in the shower. However, it is much too harsh for your body. It is great for cleaning as it has a soft sponge side and a scrub side.

I am very happy to see that Drugstore.com carries these. I have been using these for about a month now. The sponge side is no different than any other sponge, in my opinion. What I like is the loofah side. It really does a good job with the dishes, without being abrasive. The only con I have is that the loofah can be hard to clean, especially after cleaning certain foods. Food bits tend to get trapped in the natural weave of the loofah, and getting them out can be a pain. Other than that, I think these have been a great addition to the cleaning arsenal.

I do not have a dishwasher and therefore wash all of my dishes by hand. I have been using these sponges for awhile now, and am very pleased with them. I'm making my home greener slowly but surely, and I really like that these are natural sponges with a regular sponge side and a scrubbie side.

I bought this sponge to clean my dishes and pots and pans. The sponge is very hard and does not loosen up, even when wet. It doesn't hold soap well, and the scrubber part doesn't really do too much. I found that I ended up going through one of these in a couple of weeks, versus a regular sponge in a few months. Seems kind of pointless if the idea is to save the planet...
