This product it very good. You just have to be aware of how to use it. When I first tried it I didn't like it. You have to make sure it "clicks" when you are pulling the stick down to get it to its full length. Once you achieve that its perfect. It so small and discreet.

I have never had luck with tampons in the past until I tried Kotex. After years of being a loyal Kotex customer, i saw these on the shelf and had to give them a try. I will never try any others again! These are the absolute best. Even with my heavy flow, I have never had a problem with leakage while using these. The packaging is adorable, it's actually kind of fun picking out which color you will choose next, and I don't feel embarrassed if I'm digging through my purse and someone spots them. They're the perfect size for carrying with you (in your purse or even pocket!). the "click" applicator is very convenient and they are of good quality. I have never had any problems with these and would suggest them to anyone.

I've never had any trouble with the applicators breaking off...they've worked fine for me every time. The small size is uber-convenient for a small purse or traveling. Love them!

The applicators snap off every single time and it's a hassle to put the tampon applicator back together so many times! The packaging is really pretty and the small size is convenient... too bad the applicators are faulty. :(

I use this tampon for my heavy days to moderate, I have to change every 2-3 hours on my heavy days and 4-6 on moderate. I think this is the best thing ever created, since I am petite, the applicator and the size of the tube is just perfect for me. The pad is very small and absorbent so that helps me a lot. What's great is that I don't have to change ever so often whenever I wear this. I think this is way better than kotex sports, from my own experience. I've read the first review , and maybe this tampon is too small for her (since she had to position/reposition the pad once inside, cause I can only move mine upwards or downwards not left/right). So if you are petite like me, I'm 21 btw, this is good for you especially when you get the hang of it. You'll surely benefit from this :D

I have been a long time Kotex user. I think their original style Kotex tampons are far superior over all other brands, and I was excited to see a new type of product by Kotex on the shelf. The black packaging with the bright, multi colored product inside was what caught my eye, and then the convenience of a "compact" tampon that can be easily slipped into a pocket is what really convinced me to try the product.But, there was a problem.. after extending the applicator into place and hearing the "click" ( which tells you the now fully extended applicator is really locked into place ) I tried to insert the tampon; inserting it wasnt a problem, but POSITIONING it was... ladies, we all know that sometimes, after you insert the applicator, you have to get it into the correct position; if you have it over too far to the left or the right, the tampon will then be too far to the left or the right, and then you will end up with leakage... so after insertion, you may need to maneuver the applicator a bit, either right or left, to get it into the proper position, and once in the right position, you push the plunger and the tampon gets placed, and you are done... Well, with this product, anytime I tried to position the applicator by moving it either to the left or the right, the collapsible applicator came apart. this lead to me having to remove the whole thing, re-"click" the applicator ( which sometimes leads to the actual tampon coming halfway out of the applicator) and start over. This happened several times, and each time, the tampon itself came halfway out of the applicator, which caused me to have to push it back in, re-click the applicator into place, and then try again.. but the same thing kept happening. Keep in mind I am 41 years old and have been using tampons for a long, long time.. I know what I am doing! I kept checking and re-checking the applicator to make sure I was "clicking" it correctly, and I was.. each time it was locked into place, but after insertion, if I tried to move the applicator to the left or right to get it into proper position, the applicator came apart. This led to a "messy" situation.. and finally, after the tampon had come out of the applicator barrel 3 times and the applicator stem kept coming apart, I just gave up and threw the whole applicator away and inserted the tampon manually. SO MUCH FOR CONVENIENCE! :( [...]Anyway...I wont be buying these again until I hear if they have fixed the problem. I will go back to Kotex original tampons.. not compact, but otherwise PERFECT.. I think they are the best on the market, thats why I was so disappointed in the defect in the applicator on the "U" line.
