I'm pretty strong but this is still challenging. It comes with 4 exercises that take about one minute each to do. If you want to work harder, you do more reps (they recommend starting with 10 reps). It's all resistance, where you squeeze it together and HOLD IT in place for a couple seconds. Believe me, after those 10 reps you do feel the burn and feel your heart rate go up a bit. If you want something that will literally take 5 minutes a day, try this out. I use it for my legs too (but pad the handles with a washcloth).

Posture and alignment are important in engaging the proper muscles and getting results. Elongate the spine by imagining a string attached tot he top of your head and gently pulling upward. Simultaneously, pull the shoulder blades down back towards your hips to engage the spine. Maintain this posture through the entire program.
