Comments about UCO Play and Freeze Ice Cream Maker Blue, 1 ea: Great for keeping the kids entertained while making a yummy treat. Don't need anything more than milk, sugar and flavoring. We poured cold chocolate milk in and and got a delicious sort of sorbet. "Experiment friendly". Pros

Best Uses Comments about UCO Play and Freeze Ice Cream Maker Blue, 1 ea: I purchased 6 ice cream balls to use as a school project - six groups of 5 children each had a ball to work with. The process was much messier than I thought it would be. There was a lot of condensation on the outside of the balls (and water on the floor) and it was hard to reseal the chambers at the midway point. I would suggest not filling the ice cream chamber as full as the recipe suggests. We actually divided 5 recipes among 6 balls, and next time we will probably use even a little less mix to make it easier to scrape down the mixture at the midpoint. Fun project, but not as easy as advertised! Also, when using with groups of children make sure there are enough adults around - at least one adult for each group with a ball. Pros

Comments about UCO Play and Freeze Ice Cream Maker Blue, 1 ea: This is great fun to take camping and have a frozen treat that you've made. It takes quite a bit of shaking, so gather the kids and invent a game to keep it moving. I wouldn't advise rolling it on the ground unless there's soft grass to cushion it. Displaying reviews 1-4 |
