My daughter is in her freshman year on her high school swim team and practiced 5 days a week. She knew she had to do something so her hair wouldn't get so dry and damaged from the chlorine. We had heard about it from our hairdresser but couldn't find it in the stores. But found it on drugstore.com and bought four bottles. The first time she used it she was so happy with it that it worked and shared it with her teammates. They also agreed it was the best product they've ever tried for their hair. She will continue to use it when she's on the winter swim team along with her younger sister, who also loves to use it. We really recommend this product! VS Most Liked Negative Review Very harsh! Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I am a lifelong swimmer, 59 now and I swim 3-4 days a week/in the water for over an hour. I have long/just past shoulder-length wavy very fine hair and chlorine used to really dry it out no matter what products I used, including following my shampooing with the best of conditioners. I don't often write product reviews but I've now been using Ultra Swim for 6 months and from day one, my hair has been completely free of chlorine, soft, and chlorine-damage dryness has steadily decreased. Ultra Swim has a pleasant mild scent, moves into and through my hair thoroughly, generates a nice lather, and rinses easily...and best of all immediately & completely removes chlorine without any drying: my hair has body and movement and shine instead of dullness left by most chlorine shampoos (and I think I have tried them all across time). I no longer highlight or color my hair at all (let the white rock!) but the bottle declares Ultra Swim safe for chemically colored/processed hair. It is amazingly gentle: ingredients release chlorine from bonding to hair instead of stripping the hair. I haven't tried Ultra Swim conditioner because I am already committed to L'Occitane's Reparateur for moisture and scent but there have been a couple of workouts where I forgot my conditioner, shampooed with Ultra Swim and was able to easily comb through my hair afterwards without conditioner--this would have been impossible 6 months ago. Last comment, Ultra Swim is also affordable enough that I use it to wash out my bathing suit in the shower as well...saves time but also apparently is more effective in getting the chlorine out of swim fabrics because now my bathing suits have less fading and the elasticity holds almost a month longer (4 months instead of 3 months for a typical athletic swimsuit). BOTTOMLINE: LOVE ULTRA SWIM Service and delivery comments: delivery was prompt and Ultra Swim comes wrapped in no-leak plastic wrap in addition to easy open/tight close (no leak) squeeze bottle.

I had been using the normal shampoos after her swim lessons and didn't like how frizzed out and dry/unmanageable her hair was. I tried UltraSwim and even after the first shampoo, I couldn't believe how nice her hair was. She has a lot of fine hair and it tends to have a mind of its own. With UltraSwim, it is more manageable, shinier and softer. It behaves much better than with normal shampoos (and I tried switching to see if it really was the shampoo). I am going to continue using this shampoo on her hair even when she doesn't have swimming. Highly recommended!

I'm an active Masters swimmer and swim 3-4 one hour workouts per week; I use it after every workout. Mix it 1/2 and 1/2 with regular shampoo because with frequent use it can be drying. I usually shampoo & rinse twice (use only small amount second time) then apply leave-in conditioner. However it does get the chlorine deposits out of your hair. Had the problem when I started swimming but not since I started using chlorine removal shampoo.
