My daughter is in her freshman year on her high school swim team and practiced 5 days a week. She knew she had to do something so her hair wouldn't get so dry and damaged from the chlorine. We had heard about it from our hairdresser but couldn't find it in the stores. But found it on drugstore.com and bought four bottles. The first time she used it she was so happy with it that it worked and shared it with her teammates. They also agreed it was the best product they've ever tried for their hair. She will continue to use it when she's on the winter swim team along with her younger sister, who also loves to use it. We really recommend this product! VS Most Liked Negative Review Very harsh! Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I swim at the gym 5 days a week. I love this shampoo, it takes the chlorine out of my hair. If I don't use it I can fill the chlorine build up. Be careful it is very runny and you don't need a lot. It lathers well.

Getting out the chlorine is key, so get a swimmer's shampoo, but you don't need the expensive stuff. Get the expensive stuff for your CONDITIONER ONLY.

I was getting Malibu 2000 which the smell is out of this world but this is so expensive that I needed to try Ultraswim which is reasonalbly priced. It's wonderful. No more strawlike, stinky chlorine hair. It leaves a coating on my hair, so I don't need the conditioner that they sell too. My daughter's hair smells just as great the next day(after dance class!). This'll be the only one I buy from now on. We swim daily in our pool and need a shampoo like this.

It is prone to tangles, and these products work great - not only getting the chlorine smell out and keeping the green tinge away, but also by leaving her hair very smooth. Most normal shampoos and conditioners have trouble with that, so I'm very happy with this combo.
