An excellent shampoo that removes all l the chlorine thoroughly and leaves hair shiny and clean and really gets rid of that smell. My daughter is in her freshman year on her high school swim team and practiced 5 days a week. She knew she had to do something so her hair wouldn't get so dry and damaged from the chlorine. We had heard about it from our hairdresser but couldn't find it in the stores. But found it on drugstore.com and bought four bottles. The first time she used it she was so happy with it that it worked and shared it with her teammates. They also agreed it was the best product they've ever tried for their hair. She will continue to use it when she's on the winter swim team along with her younger sister, who also loves to use it. We really recommend this product! VS Most Liked Negative Review Very harsh! I have tried other high dollar chlorine removal shampoos, & they cannot top this one, you just pay more for less. I am natural blonde so hair will turn green when in water for hours on end, as will all color hair, shows less in black. Just wash & repeat .let stand for 3- 5 minutes to remove green. Then condition. For those who color their hair this product is a must. The best clarifying shampoo to get all the meds, raticals etc...out of hair folicals use 1 x a week. Shampoo choice of olymic swimmers.

It does seem to clean hair thoroughly and leaves it soft, shiny and manageable. Pleasant but not overpowering fragrance. Hair doesn't smell like chlorine after using this shampoo so it's at least taking care of that issue. The shampoo and conditioner are both unexpectedly runny so you can easily over-use it or use it up too fast if you're not paying attention when pouring it out onto your hand.

Overall I would give this product a three out of five. Mostly due to the fact that it is runny and will result in waste. Best option: get a swimming cap and use it regularly.
