An excellent shampoo that removes all l the chlorine thoroughly and leaves hair shiny and clean and really gets rid of that smell. My daughter is in her freshman year on her high school swim team and practiced 5 days a week. She knew she had to do something so her hair wouldn't get so dry and damaged from the chlorine. We had heard about it from our hairdresser but couldn't find it in the stores. But found it on drugstore.com and bought four bottles. The first time she used it she was so happy with it that it worked and shared it with her teammates. They also agreed it was the best product they've ever tried for their hair. She will continue to use it when she's on the winter swim team along with her younger sister, who also loves to use it. We really recommend this product! VS Most Liked Negative Review Very harsh! I prefer Aubrey Organic's swimmers shampoo. Smells better and they don't test on animals.

Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I discovered UltraSwim when my nieces swam competitively many years ago. This is the shampoo swim team members bought and used to reverse chlorine damage and prevent it. I swim indoors and outdoors almost daily and use it every shower. I color my hair and even that is far less faded than with normal shampoo.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: This is not so great for color treated hair as it tends to strip color. But, it's great for kids or those lucky enough not to need color in their hair!

Cons Best Uses Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: This was amazing for my daughter's hair which was badly damaged from chlorine. I think it smells great!! I have no clue where the "skunk smell" that other reviewers talked about is coming from. I have an amazing sense of smell and I think it's awesome. I can't rave enough about how improved my kid's hair was after only a few washes. Not to mention that it completely removed any and all knots, and she has LONG hair. Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I swim every day and this shampoo does the job of lifting out the chlorine. My hair feels very clean after washing with this shampoo but also very dry. It has a light watery scent and not overly harsh cleansers. Pros

Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I use this on my torso as a body shampoo as well. I am in the pool 3X per week, and hate when my arms smell of chlorine afterwards despite scrubbing & soaping them with nice products. Not my favorite smell ever in a shampoo, but very pleasant and not overpowering. It works!
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I have three kids and a neighborhood pool. We spend 2-3 hours a day swimming, and by the end of the summer their hair was always in horrible condition. This year we started using UltraSwim after every trip to the pool, and their hair has never looked more healthy and shiny. I don't find the fragrance bad at all, not my favorite, but not "bad" either. This is all we will use in the summer from now on.
Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I use Ultra Swim shampoo on my daughters hair. Last summer I noticed the ends of her hair were turning green and this is the shampoo I found in my local store for getting chlorine out of hair. Her hair is no longer green, but her normal color. We've been using this shampoo for over a year now. I wouldn't recommend the conditioner that goes with this shampoo as it leaves much to be desired. I don't have any problems with the scent of this shampoo; it's very light and is gone by the time the hair dries. I use Neutrogena's triple moisture daily conditioner on my daughters hair to replenish it after being in the swimming pool as it gets so dry and hard to comb. Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: Saved my hair. I have relaxed and sometimes color-treated hair. Before when I would go swimming, I'd see tons of hair in the comb and pretty much my hair would be fried. This in conjunction with the conditioner is a Godsend! If it weren't so hard to find I would use it as my regular regimen. Have to save it for the pool! Comments about UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz: Having had my hair color treated just prior to starting a 3X week swimming program, my hair and the color immediately began showing signs of chlorine stress. This shampoo leaves my hair soft, but not limp, and the smell is simply negligible, definitely not 'skunky'. I must trust it is "removing the chlorine molecules". I use it as insurance.
