My dentist and hygenist did not know I was using this following root planing for gum problems and were amazed at the improvement in the pockets around my gums. I'm sold on it. Teeth feel cleaner. Gums look great. Wonderful product. I hope drugstore.com will consider carrying this and the brush heads despite the fact that the company has to change advertising. Like another long time user commented, the battery had gotten to the point that it was not holding a full charge. I was beginning to look around on the internet and found only one competitor that has sonic and ultrasound cleaning in one device, but I was concerned about the limited information on its reliability. I am so relieved that I can just get a new Ultreo. It is important to ignore reviews that say brush heads are difficult to find etc. These are outdated reviews from when Ultreo was no longer available. For those types of concerns, read only reviews from 2013 forward. And, if you are reading this on Drugstore.com, you know where to go to get this product. The initial purchase price is competitive with other top line electric brushes and I feel gives superior results, based on comments my dentist and hygienist have made since I started using this product (some years ago). So, the replacement head cost is acceptable given the results. Pros

Comments about Ultreo The Ultrasound Toothbrush, 1 ea: I have been using Ultreo for the last 6 years. My original was almost ready to die from the use of its NiMH batteries. Since there is no way to replace the batteries, it is necessary to buy a new handle. Brushes used to be cheaper, now they are around $30 each on sale, but they last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Brushing is like no other ultrasonic, and I have tried several. My old Ultreo goes to the garage for cleaning parts until its demise. It is only recently that Drugstore began selling the entire Ultreo. Pros
