Being a lontime "lunatic" - I adore the moon. I bought this for my fiance's young daughters (6 & 7). Not only did the girls love it - so did all the grown ups! Very realistic looking moonlight effect with its own remote and the lighting levels are adjustable too. It comes with an educational CD which was nice to teach the kids about the Moon. It's one gift that will not get lost in the back of the closet somewhere. They'll enjoy it every night.

I bought this for an autistic child. On tutorial, it had a person talking in a soothing tone with moon facts. I thought this came with the product and wAs very disappointed. It is very deceiving (especially when buying a gift for a special needs child that may depend on this kind of stimulation).

I bought this for my nine year old son for Yule this year and he loved it! I compared this one with the Discovery Kids moon lamp and have to say Uncle Miltons is the best hands down, even if you pay full price it's worth it!
