Use UNISOL 4 solution only to rinse your lenses after cleaning before heat disinfection. After the lenses have been disinfected, they are ready for wear without additional rinsing. If you need to remove a lens to clean or wet it and replace it on your eye, use a product specifically indicated for this purpose.
Keep out of reach of children.
For your protection: This one piece container should not be used if any leaks are present prior to opening. Leaks can be detected by removing the cap and squeezing the bottle.
To avoid contamination and possible eye infection, do not touch the tip of this container to any surface. Should the top of any container become contaminated, discard the container and its contents. Do not transfer saline to another container. Because UNISOL® 4 contains no strong preservatives, it will not remain sterile indefinitely after opening and, therefore, should not be used as an eyedrop.

Although I no longer wear contacts, I still use Unisol to rinse out my and my family's eyes, including our aging dogs' dry eyes. Because the saline level is just right Unisol does not hurt. And in the years I wore contacts it was the only solution to which I did not have an allergic reaction, even though my opthalmologist assured me that the other contacts solutions had new formulations that would not irritate my eyes. (I used Unisol with a heating system to sterilize my lenses.)

I love the solution because it is very gentle on the eyes but find the plastic bottle problematic. In order to open, you are supposed to tighten the cap so a hole is made in the plastic top. The problem is that the hole is not always perfect so the solution does not spray properly.
I always use this saline to rinse my contacts before putting them in my eyes. My eyes are sensitive to contact storage solutions. But this problem have been completely solved since I started to use this item. This saline is preservative free, so it is much safer to use for long time.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have not tried this product yet. My comments here are about the product description. I misread the description and thought that I was buying 3 - 12OZ bottles so the price seemed reasonable. However, the product is 3 - 4 OZ bottles for $7.99... I doubt I will buy this saline again. Not worth the price.
I use this product to clean and moisten special eye devices (specialized contact lenses). The only drawback is that, due to special instructions by the eye institute, approximately 2.5 to 3 ounces of each 4 ounce bottle has to be discarded. A 2 to 3 ounce bottle would be much better and cheaper. If we find a suitable smaller alternative, we will switch.

To open container, press down on cap and turn cap clockwise. A molded piercing insert inside the cap will puncture the container. Remove cap and follow directions. Clean, rinse and disinfect your lenses each time you remove them. Always wash your hands before handling lenses. Fill empty storage case with fresh UNISOL® 4. Clean and rinse one lens first (always the same lens first) and place into correct chamber of your lens case. Close according to the directions of your heat unit. See package insert for full information.
Discard bottle and contents 30 days after opening. Store at room temperature. Keep tightly closed.
