It takes about an hour to work on a full stomach. Sometimes if there is too much food in the stomach, it loses its strength to make me fall asleep. It will take about 20 minutes on an empty stomach. I tend to think a lot before I go to sleep and this product slows down my thoughts while making me go to sleep. I dont wake up groggy. VS Most Liked Negative Review Active Ingredient is same as Benadryl I have used this on occasion. Once I get to sleep it will keep me there for 8 or more. I have used this on occasion. It's a feeling that lasts throughout the next day and makes focusing on work challenges that require an alert mind, difficult. It is a great product if you require a temporary solution to sleeplessness, but do not take it more than 4 days, or else you'll find it hard to sleep without them.
