Indications
Unizyme is an enzymatic cleaner (tablet) formulated to remove protein deposits from soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses.
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow Unizyme Tablets.
Distilled water and tap water are non-sterile. To help prevent contamination, do not use these products to dissolve enzyme tablet(s). Do not put enzyme solution directly into the eyes as severe irritation, burning and stinging may result. Enzymatic cleaning is not a substitute for daily cleaning or disinfecting of your lenses. After enzymatic cleaning, lenses must be cleaned, rinsed and disinfected in the usual way prior to insertion. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature (15° to 30° C / 59° to 86° F).

Use this product weekly with Clear Care or AO Sept hydrogen peroxide soft or hard contact lens cleaners. My eye doctor thinks my lenses are new when he looks at them under his microscope. I get 3 (three) years life out of a pair of soft contacts by using theses products!

I find that I have no burning or itching when I put my contacts in after using this product. This is the only product I have had no reaction after using it.

My eyes produce a lot of protein, and even the multipurpose "all-in-one" solutions don't keep my contacts itch-free for more than a couple of days (no matter if I add "supra" solutions or not). I was a bit dismayed as I saw the weekly tablet enzymatic cleaners disappear from the market, one by one, so I was hopeful when I found this product.
Unizyme not only works extremely well, but is flexible so that it works with either saline, standard chemical disinfection or hydrogen peroxide solutions. My sensitive eyes don't sting at all, and the itch stays away for a full week.
Let's hope Unizyme is available for sale for a long time.

I have worn contacts for 30 years. These tablets are wonderful, they fizz the proteins and dirt right off the contacts. It makes your contacts feel like you just put a new pair in. And they last so much longer when you use the tablets. I would tell everyone to try these. You wouldnt live without them!
