The first time I bought this, I thought the price was outrageous. But one bottle lasts me a minimum of 2 months with an average of 1.5 applications to face, neck, chest and shoulders/day. I read of this on EWG, and was afraid to try it on my acne-prone skin b/c of the oil. Amazingly, this stuff, though very sticky, does NOT clog my pores. AND I think the high zinc content helps heal the zits I mess with. VS Most Liked Negative Review Very greasy I wanted a safe, effective sunscreen for daily wear, as I have very fair skin. Comments about UV Natural Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30, 5.29 oz: I have used this product daily for over 2 years on my 58 year old face. I get great protection from UV damage and it doesn't sting my eyes if I exercise and sweat. I rest easy knowing it's non-toxic sun protection. I mix it with a little water and other natural skin lotion in my hands first, then smooth over face and neck. Any shiny areas I just blot with a paper towel or tissue. My face looks fresh (not dry or shiny) and feels great all day long. I also put a thin layer of organic coconut oil on my face and neck first. I've never had better skin and I've tried plenty of expensive brands! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about UV Natural Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30, 5.29 oz: This product is pretty greasy, and it should be obvious since the first ingredient listed is an oil. I bought this product due to wonderful the safety rating it got on ewg, being paraben-free, AND having a very impressive ability to fend off the whole range of UV rays. I compared this product's ability with many others, and nothing compares to this. Honestly. Except maybe very high-end brand sunblocks where you get a tiny squirt for the cost of a limb. So to me, putting up with the greasiness is completely worth it. As a pale person who burns easily, this definitely prevented burning. But I think my skin wasn't used to the physical sunblock, since it itched at first, but after a couple minutes my skin got used to it and doesn't itch anymore from the application. Comments about UV Natural Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30, 5.29 oz: I use this on my children who have very sensitive skin and they have no problems. Their skin stays so soft and no burns whatsoever after a day on the beach. My husband and I have also used it and although it is greasy going on it blends in after a little bit and is great. Best Uses Comments about UV Natural Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30, 5.29 oz: This is very greasy. I know it's for babies, and maybe babies don't care. But don't get this for an adult. It's too greasy, so it isn't good for swimming pools, beach (will gather sand), or even really hot days - you'd feel ensconsed in plastic wrap. I am sure it's effective, given the ingredients. Best Uses Comments about UV Natural Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30, 5.29 oz: This product is VERY greasy. It goes on greasy, feels greasy, and looks greasy. Plus after using it, it is very difficult to remove. Finally, there are other products that provide the same broad spectrum protection without harmful chemicals for much less money. This product was too expensive and too greasy. A disappointment. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about UV Natural Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30, 5.29 oz: I purchased this sunscreen after having read the EWG's report on sunscreens and their rankings in broad spectrum coverage. After being diagnosed at 18 with melanoma, I am a sunscreen nazi when it comes to my two daughters aged 3 years and 9 months. I only want what is best for them and although this sunscreen is pricey, it was ranked one of the best. I have been using this brand on them for the past two weeks we have been at the beach. After spending at least 6 hours a day on the beach, neither of them have suffered any burns with two applications of the product. I love the fact that it is all natural and the smell is pretty neutral. It is, however, on the heavy/greasy side, but that is the price I am willing to pay when I know that this is the best there is. I would highly recommend UV Natural sunscreen for any member of the family. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about UV Natural Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30, 5.29 oz: My kids have highly sensitive skin and get rashes from every other sunscreen (we've tried them all). This one works. There is a slight odor when you first apply it, but it goes away quickly. It is also pretty greasy but I'm willing to deal with that because it lasts longer when they swim.
