Hands down, Vagisil is the best creme on the market to sooth vaginal irritation. I have sensitive skin and am prone to irritation in my lady parts... I have tried a number of cremes, but Vagisil takes the cake for fast, strong relief.

It literally can save the day when I'm trying to put in a 12 hour work day and don't have time to not be at the top of my game.

The only good thing I can say about this product, is that it is easy to apply. I had a severe reaction to this product. I will never use this again!!!!!!!

This product was suggested to me by a doctor. I use a pea sized amount each morning after a shower for center butt itch and pain. It keeps me comfortable all day!

Anything with 20% Benzocaine is what numbs the itch/pain.
Lanacane also has 20% Benzocaine, but it's texture is thicker so whenever our family needs to numb a cut, or scratch, a bug bite or anything anywhere, we always use Vagisil as it is a creamier amolient (sp?) and does not dry out the skin.
An elderly lady that we care for was using Preparation H for hemmoroids which shrinks the hemmoroid, but it did nothing for the pain and itch. so we mixed it with Vagisil and it numbed her hemmoroid so it could heal. This stuff is great for anything anywhere you want numbed.
We use it for everything.
Keep in mind, that 20% Benzocaine is ONLY in the purple tube.
The blue tube only has 10% Benzocaine and is worthless in my opinion.
NOTE: To the person who said it had a strange grainy texture. If that is the case, then the tube is old. That is what happens to it after it's gone beyond it's shelf life.

This product did not do much for me. It caused more problems to my skin than it helped. Not worth the purchase if you are coming down with a yeast infection!

So far it works for me. I have very sensitive skin and currently have a pretty bad yeast infection. I am using Monistat 3 but the itching and burning is so intense I can barely stand it. After I picked this up, instantly the itch is gone. I can still feel mild burning but not nearly as horrible as what it was an hour ago. Thank you!!!

I've been experiencing itchiness due to recurring yeast infections and urinary issues and treating the itch with cortisone, which worked brilliantly. I decided to try Vagisil and it caused instant burning. I had to get in the shower to wash it off it was so bad! Definitely not recommended for people with sensitive skin.

I'm surprised there's any negative reviews for this item, it works great for me, there's no comparison to the regular strength cream. This one has more of the pain relieving stuff in it, 20% versus 5% of the regular cream. I give this one 5 stars because it gives me instant relief from itching and burning from a UT.
