Works real well to get shave done with no irritation. Not messy and leaves hands free of substances when gripping razor.

Only draw back is that I seem to be getting my 5 o'clock shadow earlier, but I will trade that for less irritation/bumps on my neck!

I love the shave soap in this set, and the cup is a bit nicer than the old "mug" styles, but the brush in this set is horrible. I've been using it for around 2 months now, and it loses more quills today than when it was new. I started out pulling 2-3 quills off my face in the beginning... yesterday I pulled at least 10 off.

For years I've wanted to try this method of shaving. When I saw this item at such a great price, I decided it's time to try it. And good thing I did. It makes such a nice creamy lather, and the soap lasts for months! Just wet the brush, then shake off the excess water. Swirl it around the soap and lather up! It's simple to use and I get a great shave! This makes a fantastic gift for any man in your life. Make sure you buy a couple of bars of soap too. I will NEVER buy those stupid cans of shave foam ever again! It's the most economical way to shave!

This product is great. I just bought it and it has my skin feeling extra smooth. I haven't tried any more of the expensive brands so I cant really compare it to anything else, but I know for the price this set is well worth it

Bought this set not expecting too much and can't believe how good it really is.
Brush loses some quill initially but has been rock solid since then and the soap gives a nice, close shave.
I've spent ten times as much on a brush and it wasn't any better than this one.
The reason I got this was because I had a fire in my apt and it destroyed everything. Needed a new shaving brush but was not prepared to spend a lot.
Seriously, this set is a gem.
