After trying several moisturizers that are supposedly for sensitive skin, I have settled on this Vanicream Lite Lotion. I use this lotion as a facial moisturizer immediately after showering in the morning to lock in moisture and again at night before sleep. It is not too greasy. No scent at all. Best of all, no irritation whatsoever. Other sensitive skin formulations would feel good at first, and then within a few hours, my skin would gradually start feeling hot and itchy to the point where it was really uncomfortable and embarrassing. Not so with this product - it has been a godsend for calming my very irritated skin. It's not perfect. I do find that it doesn't always absorb immediately, but it's not a huge deal. I just have to be very careful when applying it in the morning that I don't leave with weird streaks or globs of it on my face. On days where I'm feeling particularly dry/sensitive/flaky, I add a couple of drops of pure, organic jojoba oil, and that combo seems to knock this lotion up to 5 stars from a 4.5 for me. I highly recommend that all frustrated, itching, flaking sensitive types like me give this one a try. I've found no sensitive skin product to be 100% perfect but this one is the closest I've found so far. Like some products I've tried before finding the right Olay moisturizer for me, the Vanicream lotion irritates my nose. It just makes me wonder which chemical it has that I'm allergic to. It's fragrance free, so it cannot be the fragrance. I don't think I'll be using it as body lotion as I'm happy with my current one (Cetaphil ). Comments about Vanicream Lite Lotion, 8 fl oz: My OB/GYN recommended Vanicream as a personal lubricant due to its short list of ingredients/possible irritants. Also a nice light moisturizer, but I like that I if it gets left out in the open I'm not embarrassed like I would be with a bottle of KY or something else. I tried a number of different products but the irritation remained. My dermatologist recommended Vanicream Lite Lotion. I have been using it for a few weeks and am starting to see some improvement in my skin's condition. The product isn't greasy at all. It absorbs amazingly well.
