Cons It takes a little time for this cream to set and absorb. Before absorbed, this cream is sticky However these cons can be eased by applying this cream on wet face or wet the hand and kind of blend and rub this cream with water in the palm then apply on the face.

It is 2:39am, I was waken by my cat. Before I went to bed, I simply washed my face with cetaphil daily cleanser and applied vanicream. I felt my face with my finger and went to the mirror saw that not only my pimples are a lot of calmer but also my skin was not oily at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always wake up with a oily face but not this time!Every now and then I apply nothing before bed and also woke up with no oily face. This time is I woke up with no oily face yet still feel my face is hydrated and soft. Flaky has been improved a lot. I think ever since I started tretinoin especially I increased the usage frequency (every other night), my skin looks "old" due to excessive flaky .Like when I was using Alpha Hydrox lotion, my skin looks and feels rough and peel-y and oily at the same time. I have tried major things on the market that claim to help dryness (CeraVe, Cetaphil, Embryolisse, Clinigue). Nothing helped but either making me oily sleek or breaking me out until I tried vanicream and have a overnight improvement of my skin texture.

I checked "greasy" as a Con, but that's not quite accurate as it did NOT stain my clothing or sheets. It just left my skin feeling like there was a residue of lotion left....as if it had "sealed" the surface of my skin or something.
After using for a week or more, I saw no noticeable improvement in the dryness of my skin. However, my skin was not adversely affected either.
Also, I did not enjoy the pump as much as I thought I would. It doesn't dispense that much at a time, so if you are lotioning your entire body, it seems easier to just dispense from a tube of lotion instead.

This product is great but drugstore.com sometimes send it with box sometimes not. When this product send without its own box, it would be spilled a little bit.

I had been struggling with dryness and rash for months. It was was even affecting my eyelids. After trips to the dermatologist and the ophthalmologist and being prescribed creams and ointments that made very little difference, I stumbled onto this. It was cheap and plentiful and I had nothing to lose. After about a week I saw significant improvement and this was with use at bedtime only. Eventually, I used it on my eyelids. After about three weeks, everything was cleared up. I still cannot believe that after all the brands, prescriptions, and trips to docs I found complete healing in this modest, unknown cream. Do get the pump. It will make use easier. I will never be without this.

This product does a good job moisturizing my skin. It is a bit heavy, but does absorb in a few minutes. I think my skin is softer and not as dry after using this product.
