We use this product upon doctors advice for our 16 mo. old grand-daughter who has severe eczema problems. It is less greasy than vaseline or aquaphor, yet still provides a good barrier to hold moisture in skin...absorbs quickly, leaving skin smooth and soft.

I had dried chapped lips for 3.5 months. Nothing would help. Cracked and bleeding. Then my dermatologist recommended vaniply. NO chapstick. This healed me within 2 days!!! I love it and will never use anything else.

I used this product on my contact dermatitis around my nose where it had cracked. It was soothing and took the sting away and healed it within about 4 days. I am going to try it on my dermatitis that I have on my belly, and see if it works it's magic there. I have an appointment with a dermatologist, but if this works well, I may just cancel that appointment.

Recently my lips got really chapped, red, itchy, and were peeling. I went to my dermatologist who told me I had most likely become allergic to my lip balm, and gave me a sample of Vaniply to use instead. It cleared up my allergic reaction, and it hydrated, healed, and protected my lips. I still use it in lieu of lip balm. I was using high end, natural lip balm, so it wasn't a chemical or fragrance sensitivity (they were fragrance free). I don't think I would use this anywhere else on my body unless I had extremely scaly, flaky, dry skin. Basically I think this is better than petroleum jelly, and I would use Vaniply in place of that. It is heavy, greasy, and kind of waxy, which to me makes a bad lotion. But it is a great protective barrier, and it moisturizes very well.

This has no smell and leaves out many unwanted ingredients. It feels greasy when first applied but the feeling goes away after a few minutes. I've used this after waxing and after shaving to sooth irritation. I've also used this on my face to soften rough patches.
