Veet introduces NEW wax strips with HairCoating Technology - the wax that's ready when you are. It is effective on short hair (2mm), so you don't need to wait for smooth skin. Veet has specially formulated these wax strips to act like a liquid during application , coating different lengths of hair, even those as short as 2mm long. When you remove the strip, the wax locks in the hair - for effective hair removal. Suitable for delicate body areas like the upper lip, chin, and eyebrow. The result is smoothness that lasts up to 4 Weeks!
PRECAUTIONS: Follow Directions for Use indicated on the leaflet inside the pack.
Designed for use on the face, but not suitable for use on breast, perianal or genital areas or any other body parts.
Don't use on varicose veins, moles, scars, or broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, or on skin that has reacted badly to waxes in the past.
Hair should be between 2mm and 5mm long. If the hair is longer trim it with scissors or clippers before you wax to avoid discomfort and damage to skin when waxing.
If you're on medication that can affect the skin or if you have a skin related disorder check with your doctor before waxing.
If you are elderly or diabetic, waxing is not suitable.
Before every use, TEST YOUR SKIN REACTION by applying the wax and a wipe to a small part of the area you wish to treat, following the directions for use. If after 24 HOURS there is no adverse reaction, begin waxing.
If you have not waxed before we recommend starting by removing hair from the legs. Only when you have experience, then progress to the sensitive areas of the face, underarm and bikini line. We recommend not to wax the same area of skin twice during a waxing session.
After waxing we recommend waiting 24 hours before using antiperspirant, any other perfumed product, swimming or sunbathing.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of ingestion, consult a doctor immediately and show the outer pack.
If you experience any stinging or tingling when waxing, remove the wax immediately with the wipes and rinse thoroughly with water. If this sensation persists, seek medical advice.
Veet is fine to use if you're pregnant but your skin may be more likely to bruise a little.

This product works great for upper lip facial hair. Simply follow the directions and you won't be disapointed. You do need to get this product good and warm in your hands as noted in the directions before you use it. Very course hair occasionally need to be tweezed. No big deal. I have no problem with removing residual wax with the wipes provided. Slight redness after use is to be expected, and goes away after an hour or so. Use it before bed if you're concerned. I think it works great, I like the freedom of waxing when I want and not having to wait for an appointment at a salon then pay 3 times as much, if not more.

This is a big dissapointment. It works on fine, soft facial hair (say on jawline?); but, it does not pull out the stiffer and tougher facial hairs on the chin, upper lip, etc.
On top of that, it leaves your face totally sticky! Fortunately, you are given 4 wipes for this. They do work. But, you are going to run out of wipes if all you do is your upper lip every time. They should provide at least 10 wipes for 20 strips.
The bottom line is I tossed these out. A waste of time and money.
I think it's better to spend my money on investing in one of those electrolysis units that will permanently remove facial hair. These Veet wax strips sound like a good idea, but they are not. The body ones did pull off "some hair" but left even more of a sticky mess. And, you are only given 4 wipes in the box!
I guess Veet counts on us using one box per waxing experience. It would be nice if they sold those wipes separately. You need more than what they provide.

I have used Veet brand before and was very satisfied with them until that came out. I got it because I wanted to try it out and seemed like a good idea than what I am using now but when I tried the other product of this. It did not do anything. Waste of time and sticky. I returned this product because why keep something you have not used yet and does not work and I will stick with what I have much better.

I used a snip of a strip per little hair side of corners of lip. Red bumps. Thought it was because I ripped wrong way 1st time. Second time 1 rip and I looked like I had herpes across my upper lip for 4 days, 10 days to mostly normal. Odd pustules after. I'm not sensitive usually and never break out. Don't ever do it before a special night,

I bought these strips because they were on clearance--that should have been my first clue. I made sure I read the instructions before I used them, and figured that since I've waxed my face for years now, I'd be fine. My second clue should have been when I peeled the strips apart, more wax stuck to one side than the other. I went ahead and used them anyway, and now I'm paying the price. They did ok at removing the hair--it missed a few spots, so I did have to tweeze a bit afterwards. But I noticed that my skin was really red. About 20 minutes later it started to itch really badly, then when I looked in the mirror, I had itchy red blisters! I've NEVER had an allergic reaction to a facial waxing before! Benadryl is helping and so is a cold compress, but it's still a bit itchy. Long story short, you get what you pay for; go ahead and buy these if you enjoy tossing money into the trash can.

I bought these a few weeks ago but just tried them for the first time tonight. These are the worst! Not only were they sticky and messy, but they didn't even remove the hair. The worst part is that it's nearly impossible to remove all of the wax, even with the included wipes. I even washed my face afterwards and I couldn't get the rest of it off completely. I would never buy these again. I'll just stick with my Avon hair removal cream. It irritates my skin, but at least it works and it doesn't make my face sticky.

this is the first time i've used any veet product. i bought these at the store because they were on sale. i used on my upper lip, which isn't super hairy but i had some fine hair i wanted to remove. i've a had a pretty horrible reaction. i've been waxing my bikini line & between my brows for a couple years & never had this happen. my skin has been peeling constantly for two days & i have one area that's still super red & painful.. i've also had little white bumps popping up here or there that fade quickly. it kinda sucks because i have to work, where i work with the public a lot, looking screwy. i've been putting aloe on it but nothing seems to help.
it might be just me, maybe i'm allergic or sensitive to something in particular in these strips, but i've used several brands in the past couple years & never had something like this happen. i guess my advice is just do a patch test before you use it on your face.

These are the best wax strips I have used. They easily peel apart, leaving wax on both strips and grab even coarse hair. Sometimes they leave a wax residue, but it can be wiped off with the finishing wipes. Will buy again.
