Veet inroduces NEW wax strips with HairCoating Technology - the wax that's ready when you are. It is effective on short hair (2mm), so you don't need to wait for smooth skin. Veet has specially formulated these wax strips to act like a liquid during application, coating different lengths of hair, even those as short as 2mm. When you remove the strip, the wax locks in the hair - for effective hair removal. Suitable for use on your legs, underarm and bikini area. The result is smoothness that lasts up to 4 weeks!
Designed for legs, arms, underarms & bikini line, but not suitable for use on the face, head, breast, perianal or genital areas or on any other body parts.
Don't use on varicose veins, moles, scars, or broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, or on skin that has reacted badly to waxes in the past.
Hair should be between 2mm and 5mm long. If the hair is longer trim it with scissors or clippers before you wax to avoid discomfort and damage to skin when waxing.
If you are on medication that can affect the skin or if you have a skin related disorder, check with your doctor before waxing.
If you are elderly or diabetic, waxing is not suitable.
Before every use, TEST YOUR SKIN REACTION by applying the wax and a wipe to a small part of the area you wish to treat, following the directions for use. If after 24 HOURS there is no adverse reaction, begin waxing.
If you have not waxed before we recommend starting by removing hair from the legs. Only when you have experience then progress to the sensitive areas of underarm and bikini line. We recommend not to wax the same area of skin twice during a waxing session.
After waxing we recommend waiting 24 hours before using antiperspirant, any other perfumed product, swimming or sunbathing.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of ingestion, consult a doctor immediately and show the outer pack.
If you experience any stinging or tingling when waxing, remove the wax immediately with the wipes and rinse thoroughly with water. If this sensation persists, seek medical advice.
Veet is fine to use if you're pregnant but your skin may be more likely to bruise a little.

I've never waxed anything besides my eyebrows and lip and I always have those professionally done so it was iteresting to see how these would work. I actually cut one of the strips in half and used it on my jawline and was extremly pleased with the results on my face. It was just as good as a professional wax (I have thinner/finer hair on my face). I did try them on a section on my legs and the results weren't AS good, but still happy with the results. I have more coarse hair on my legs and I know it is best to have it grown out a bit before waxing so that could have been a little bit of the missed hair issue.
There was some residue left over but I didn't think it to be any worse than what it would be at the salon. Even there, they have to wipe away residue with a bit of oil.

STICKY RESIDUE

I tried this under my arms. And, it removed half of my hair on the first attempt. Took another attempt to completely remove all underarm hair. I was surprised this really didn't hurt that much, because I've never waxed my underarms until now.
Here's the BIG ISSUE: It leaves a lot of sticky residue on your skin. I mean, a lot! My underarms were so sticky, it pulled my skin when I raised my arms. It didn't hurt. But, my armpits were just sticky!!!!
The box says to clean any residue with Veet "Perfect Finish Wipes." Well, try to find some! They do not sell them on Drugstore.com com or anywhere else on-line either. Of course that did me no good at the present moment my armpits were all stuck. LOL!
What did I use? I went and got some "Goo Gone" that I had in the kitchen that I use to remove sticky labels etc. That worked pretty good. And, it did not sting my armpits since it's all organic and no chemical. I have no clue how that would be on one's face however. Hmmm?
I tried using my Ponds makeup remover pads, but they didn't do the job.
Oh, I might also mention....make sure you have no nailpolish on when you use these. My fingers were totally sticky and I had to use nailpolish remover to clean them off with...thus removing my nailpolish too.
So I gave it 3 stars. It does work, but the sticky residue it leaves on your skin is an annoyance.

Veet's Finish Wipes work well, but there are not enough of them, and they are on the small side to begin with. A bottle of mineral oil fills the bill.
The peel-off layer of the product is nearly as effective as the product itself: the peel-off element works well enough that they are worth using to the budget-conscious user, if they don't mind covering areas twice-over.

I have low pain tolerance, and this has to be the best wax strips for the price range.I even cut it into thin strips and use it on my face(but only after applying powder on the upper lip region).Those who have issues with stickiness or not enough hair being "gripped", I would suggest first dusting the area with a really thin layer of talcum powder and then using the strips.As for wax residue removal, baby oil works perfectly fine.I am yet to experience any burns/outbreaks etc.

Not only did this miss most of my hair, it left a "glue strip" on my leg that I could not get off! The wipes they give you did not remove it, and I ended up having to use my very expensive salt scrub like sandpaper to get it off my legs. It was a total waste of money.

This is by far the easiest, fastest, most painless wax that I've ever used. I have no pain tolerance so the fact that these worked extremely well and were painless was definitely awesome for me. They are a little sticky, but what wax isn't? I didn't bother with the wipes they provided cause they don't work, but to get off the excess stickyness, just take a quick shower! I'll definitely keep using these cause they're quick, not messy, and grab the hair.

I'd been using the Nads strips, but they kept drying out and becoming brittle before I could use them all. On a whim, I decided to try the Veet strips and I'm VERY glad I did. The soft wax heats up easily and grabs hair relentlessly!

This product does not remove hair...at all. It leaves behind a lot of sticky wax, that does not come off with the finishing pads that come with it. Complete waste of money and time. I have used other at home waxng products that do work, needless to say this one does not. Very dissapointing.

The product have enough hair remover strips, which i like. However, they were hard to heat and take long to get the hair off which take up a lot of time. It did leave the skin smooth and feeling soft.

I'm Greek; shaving is an everyday chore for me, so when I heard about these I was thrilled! Then I used them and I'm so disappointed. The fact that you have to rub the strips to warm them is just ridiculous. There is almost no pain but that's because the wax isn't strong enough to stick to the hair and actually pull it out from the root. Yes there was hair on the strip but my legs were still rough. It clearly just broke the hairs. Same results I get from shaving except with shaving you can go over the same spot as many times as you wish. You can't wax the same spot twice with these! I'm still confused as to why there is 40 wax strips but only 6 wax removing wipes. How is that supposed to work? Not worth the money. I recommend paying the salon price to get your legs waxed.

I Used to use Nair with the same formula-- Instant, rub between your palm to create heat and activate the wax-- until they discontinued it. Thank goodness, veet has the same one too. ALTHOUGH, it might miss the shortest hair, it is very easy and convenient to use. The wax is already prepared in the strip provided--all you have to do is rub the strip in between your hands--- SIMPLE. The only thing is that you might have to keep rubbing until enough heat is produced. I noticed that if given just a few seconds won't work and so it really won't be as effective as when you rub the strip for at least 30 seconds--preferably more. Also, it does miss some short hair so I noticed that if I let the hair grow just enough for the wax to take it out, there wouldn't be any issues. It also comes with the finishing wipes to take out the excess wax on your skin--really convenient.
In summary, It's so easy to use, less trips to have wax done, saves you money. BUT you would have to grow them hair in order to take them out.
1. Rub the wax strip between your hands to warm the wax.
2. Hold the strips using the EasyGrip tabs and slowly peel apart.
3. Apply one strip onto your skin (ensure that the EasyGrip tab is pointed towards your ankle.) Smooth the strip repeatedly onto your skin in the direction of hair growth (knee to ankle).
4. Holding the EasyGrip tab VERY QUICKLY and in one swift motion pull the strip back on itself against the direction of hair growth (from ankle to knee) keeping the strip as close to the skin as possible. Hold your skin taut to avoid discomfort. Repeat in a consistent pattern. You can re-use each strip until it looses its grip.
5. When you have finished waxing remove any excess wax with a Veet Perfect Finish Wipe.
