This thermometer is accurate and takes a couple of seconds to receive an instant reading. I will never go back to the old style thermometer again. Just point a couple of inches from the forehead and click and you have an instant reading. It has a backlit display for using it at night and you won't have to wake your child to take their temperature.
It can also be used to take surface, liquid and room temperatures. A very useful product.

TO TAKE A PERSON'S TEMPERATURE SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE 4 STEPS:

1. Wipe away any perspiration or hair from the patient's forehead

2. Set the thermometer to "Body" mode

3. Point the VeraTemp 2-3 inches away from the patient's forehead

4. Press and release the "SCAN" button, and the patient's temperature will instantly be displayed on the screen
