I bought this because I am a home health care nurse. I had a digital oral thermometer which took a long time to get a reading. Children & the eldery, especially those with dementia, will not sit there with this thermometer in their mouth for more than a few seconds. I decided to try this temperal thermometer, it is fast & so easy to use. Makes taking a temperature so simple.

Most Thermometers are hard to use with my son who has special needs. This is so easy to use that he can use it on his own.
