I've had this for about 3 months now and all of the sudden the temps started recording EXACTLY the same...since I read somewhere that there is something wrong if they are EXACTLY the same, I tried to see if the battery was dead...I don't see a battery low display and I can't even get the cap off to replace the battery if I wanted to try to do that...I am going to try to get another BBT thermometer to see if it's this one that is the problem or not.
I also agree with the negative comment about the memory function...give us time to read, write and read again please!

The best thing about this thermometer is that the reading takes less than 30 seconds. However, because its so fast, sometimes I feel like it's not as accurate, as I've also tested with another BBT thermometer and there have been differences.
The worst thing about this thermometer is the memory function. It flashes for less than 1 second when you turn it on and it is lost FOREVER. So don't try to read the memory temp when you are not ready because it will be gone and there is no way to get it back.
