One dose to Citracal plus D daily is not enough, so I supplement it with 2 Viactiv chews. The Citracal is difficult to swallow, but I know it is a good product so I continue with it.

We have been using this for our calcium needs for years. At first we would only get the milk chocolate flavor, but once we purchased the caramel by mistake. We loved it much better than the chocolate and now enjoy this so much more.

I use this product three times a day, after each meal, for maximum calcium (I'm post-menopausal). I like the Viactive brand because it offers the recommended dose of Viamin D needed to absorb the calcium most efficiently. Other brands I've tried skimp on the Vitamin D. Also, the caramel flavor is delicious and is just about impossible to find in my local retail outlets in the 100 count size. Thank you, drugstore.com, for carrying this specific product!
