The Mystic Wand is 60% the size, is lighter, and less noisy than the big guy. The ball head is softer and more flexible, and the handle is a silky silicone. Top speed on this is less than the Hitachi's high, but still powerful and better than most battery vibes. The other speeds and pulses are fun, too. Those who find the Hitachi too much will like this unit's slightly lower power. Battery life so far is excellent. Power light is really too bright, but you can turn it away or try a piece of tape. Not to mention that I have roommates and this product is so noisy that being discrete goes out the window. I use it when I'm sure everyone is gone. I like that there are no cords and is hand held and can be maneuvered easily. It also has a carrying bag and different speed levels. I wouldn't purchase this again, I'm going back to the bullet I had before and killed over time..Lol. I should have probably looked into something with more clitoral stimulation. After opening it up and looking at the shape I was tempted to return it and should have. Be aware though that the neck of the vibe is flexible. If you like to use pressure it will be difficult to get the kind of pressure you want when the head of the vibe flexes away from you as you apply. The vibes on it are good. Specifically, the third setting :). I had all but given up on reaching The Big O, but just a few minutes with this one and......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had known years ago that it could be this easy. Now to make up for lost time..... Been a HItachi Magic Wand fan for years and read good reviews about the Vibratex so I gave it a shot. The vibration is not the same.
