When using this product, skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irrigation occurs, only use one topical medication at a time.
I love that this moisturizer keeps my skin from getting very greasy. I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin, so anything that will keep my face from being irritated or getting more oily is just lovely. I feel like it soothes my skin and turns my oil gland production down a notch (without over-drying!). I was surprised that my skin looked noticeably less irritated and noticeably less oily on the first day I used it.
It does have a light scent that fades quickly, but could be an issue for some. It doesn't irritate my skin, as most things with fragrance do. It also doesn't soak in very well. I put on the lotion, then apply some makeup primer after a few minutes. Sometimes it peels off my face when I put the primer on. I'm unsure of how effective it is at fighting acne, but the other benefits are enough for me. Take another look at the size of the bottle, it was smaller than I had realized (although I really like it, so I still think it's worth it). I'm on my first bottle, so I'm not sure how long it will last. A little goes a long way, but not long enough to use as more than a face lotion. If you have dry skin, this is NOT the lotion for you!
It's a good product to use. I get little bumps on my arms and legs, and although I use Clean & Clear facial acne lotion, this product seems to work more effectively. I used to use the Neutrogena body lotion, but they stopped making that. I wanted this bottle to be larger for the price, but it's a thick lotion, so I feel it will last me a while.
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying this product.
Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily.
Too much drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or directed by a doctor.
If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
