I have this for my one year old twins. It does not work at all! I will take one temp, but when I retry it a minute later, the temp will be up to two degrees different in either direction! So frustrating. I threw it away after a few months.

My husband and I are busy baby boomers in our late 50s that like convenience when we're feeling sick or out-of-sorts. Using this thermometer to check our temperatures when we need to monitor it, is a joy. It's fast. accurate, and easy to use. We highly recommend it.

I purchased this thermometer thinking it would be less invasive and easier to use on my kids than oral and ear thermometers. Based on the description, I figured it would be great for a sleeping child or baby. WRONG! This thermometer beeps so loud it would definitely wake a sleeper! It lets out one loud beep when there is no fever and multiple loud beeps along with turning yellow or red to "alert" that there is either a low-grade or high-grade fever (the color change is good enough--why make it beep, too?). The readings are extremely inaccurate, as well. I have tried taking multiple temps on each of my kids and every time the reading is different--sometimes by two or more whole degrees. Very unhappy with this product.
