Don't use with hard tap water!. Mineral deposits are almost impossible to clean. Now I can't seem to reset....machine won't work!!!!!!!

This humidifier/vaporizer is great. Small size, quiet motor and has a night light. It can be used with or without the vaporizer medicine. Totally enclosed so there's no chance to tip the vaporizer over and spill the water (that was the case with our old vaporizer).

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small space humidifier and/or vaporizer. We are ordering another one so that we have one for each bedroom.

I use this in my bedroom and I would say it's louder than a white noise generator but definitely something that wouldn't disrupt my sleep. I can fill the reservoir and it keeps going for three night before needing to refill. Though if you have trouble sleeping, I would not recommend this as the noise make make it difficult to sleep. Really does a good job of providing moisture.

My home gets dry in the winter and my nose feels stuffy in the morning so I bought this product. I am CAREFUL NOT TO LET THE WATER RUN DRY AFTER READING THE PROBLEMS RESETTING WHEN THIS OCCURS FROM OTHER REVIEWERS! The only way i can prevent this from happening is to use it on low overnight. It works well but would but a larger model if had it to do over again.

It's a good product that does what is said. The only shortcomings are that:

It barely does anything on the first setting, so you must use the second.

Using the second setting makes the water run out fast.

Water must be refilled often because of the amount of water it can hold.

Btw, I have a question. There's a part of the humidifier where you can pour Vicks into, can you also pour eucalyptus oil into that part? Or can it only function/not harm the humidifier with Vicks?

I have always used it at the low setting and it works well for me. The water lasts for at least 12 hrs on the low setting and even then some water is left over. As an added bonus it warms up the bedroom that works well for me in winter. I feel the vicks spout is too small and does not allow for easy cleaning (the recommended process to clean the vicks spout is a pain)

I got this to use at night in my bedroom, but it goes through all the water in seven hours. Once the water is empty, it shuts the humidifier down and forces you to reset it before it will turn back on, but i have the most difficult time reseting it! It says to unplug, replug, refill, and turn on, but I had to unplug it for three days last time this happened! It just kept turning back on with the orange "reset" light even though the tank was filled and reset. It was VERY frustrating.

Also, it is somewhat loud. I have to turn a fan on to drown out the noise. Right now, it is making a very loud gurgling noise.

I am very dissatisfied with this product, and I am considering returning it!

I have mild asthma that's aggravated in the winter. I've always used a humidifier, but my last one stopped being good enough. I read the review on this one in First for Women, and I'm so glad I did! It has two settings. The low one is quiet and slightly heats up a room. I keep it in my 12x11 bedroom, so the high setting can be a little over powering if it's left on all night (too humid or warm). Over all, it's been perfect for everything I've needed it.

I love what it does but have a problem with having to constantly go and refill the cointainer with water at least twice each night. The vick's vaposteam spout is incredibly small and holds only 2 hours worth of vicks........totally defeating the purpose of the humidifier. Lastly, when it's out of water and resets itself, you MUST uplug the unit for at least 5 minutes before it can restart. Bet they will come out with a new and improved model soon to make more money!!
