These elastics are too large and require a lot of looping to create a ponytail. The elastic feels weak, however, so I wouldn't want to recommend this for people with thick hair because it feels like the bands would break. If these bands came in a smaller loop size they might work better for fine hair, but as I said, they might break more easily. Give these a pass.

These hair ties stay in well, I have no problem when i use them. I think you get alot of them for the money. I like my hair ties large, so they won't break, these will last me over a year,

These hairbands stay in, no sliding out. And they don't pull a lot of hair when being taken out

I have thick but silky hair that is easily damaged. These are perfect on it. They do break after a while but you get a lot in the package for your moneys worth and I love how gentle they are on my hair!

These are awfull. They dont hold well and are too small to go around twice. They slip, stretch then break. The are the worst hairbands ever!

I love that these have no crimp to snag your hair. They are very gentle and don't stretch out like the plastic 'snag free' variety. The problem is, I can only use each one about 3-4 times before they snap. They are not very strong at all, and you can't wrap them around a ponytail more than a couple of times or they will break. Because of this, they never hold my hair securely. I'm in search for better ones.

These lose their elasticity very quickly. I have thick hair and it just laughs at these elastics!
