The is a really nice, long wearing lip stain that is comfortable. In fact I forget I'm wearing it unlike many other long wearing lip colors that necessitate constant lip gloss application, chapped lips, etc. I prefer a natural look. I layer this on to the darkness that I want letting each layer dry for several seconds before applying the next. I can then put on some chap stick over the top and I'm done. This lip product seems to last until about mid day (roughly 4 hours). It does not need constant fixing, re-application of color after eating/talking nor use of lip glosses, there is no bleeding nor seeping into fine lines around mouth. The smell and taste is not bad and disappears as soon as the stain dries (seconds). The angled sponge tip applicator is a bit tricky. The stain is very liquid so care needs to be taken to apply as evenly as possible. Very pleased with this product.

I just got this in Neo Aura and am so glad I did. It is a pretty plummy brown color (like the applicator in the photo) that lasts, does not come off when drinking, eating, or kissing. I am a brunette with medium/tan skin, and it is dark & noticeable. It's a nice neutral that looks more sophisticated, not bright, like you've just eaten a popsicle. It reminds me a bit of Nars Pampa, but I like this better, not as thick, flaky and much more natural looking. I wouldn't recommend this particular color for fair skin, but the product itself is terrific and I plan to try maybe Cupid's Breath or My Sunshine if it becomes available. It is drying, but it is a lipstain, after-all, you can't expect to have a creamy lipstick consistency and have it last as long this does. I would recommend wearing a good lip balm under and over it. I also bought Jane Iredale's Lip Drink and I wear that under and over the stain which alleviates any dryness, it's a perfect combination. This would probably wear well with a sheer lipgloss over it as also. As the gloss wears off, you'd still be left with great color.

Many lip stains are clearly made for fair to medium complexions and have pink to red undertones. My skin is medium dark - the color of a tan on a brunette. And I have a golden undertone. This is one of the few colors that looks great. I think that it's a bit expensive for what you get, but I use it on my lips only and therefore it lasts a long time.

I bought this color after using another of Longo's gel stains (Cupid's Breath). This color, Neo Aura, is very brown as mentioned by other reviewers. But it can be applied in a very light coat that looks great for everyday. A heavier application or more than one coat will give significantly more color. I actually like to use the Neo Aura as the first coat and the Cupid's Breath as the second coat. The two together make the perfect shade for me. These products go on smoothly, don't accentuate any dry lip areas like some stains do, and they last all day. I do minimal makeup, so the lip stains are perfect - put it on in the morning and it looks natural and doesn't require reapplication throughout the day. Plus, I can use lip balm on top of it, which I can't go without. The gel stain isn't sticky or gloppy, it's a great consistency. It also smells great (vanilla) and a container lasts a very long time. Even though a container lasts, I had to give 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. I can't imagine why this product can't be priced under the $20 mark.

The stain works, apply serval coats to get the desired richness you want. One coat for more naturual, and then add to get it darker. I always put some sort of gloss or color over it to gt the shine.

I love most vincent longo products, but this color is very brown ~ much more like a bronzer than a blush. And seems completely liquid, not a gel.
It didn't blend onto my cheeks easily and I had two weird brown patches for a day (so yes it has staying power!). On my lips, it was ok, but even for someone like me who wants a natural lip tone, it was just too brown. My skin tone is fair, with olive undertones. This might be better for a deeper skin tone.

I was stunned when I tried this on my hand--it was dark brown. But on my lips it is a wonderful reddish-brown and looks great.

Start with a light touch--if you want more color you can add more. It dries quickly, but you do have time to blend. Top with gloss or plumper if you do not like the plain stain. It doesn't look or feel dry, though.

It wears well, and doesn't transfer at all.

This is great for on the go and because it works both as blush and as lipstick. Lasts forever and the vanilla scent is sublime.

This stuff is phenomenal! Yes, it is expensive for the small amount you get. However, you don't need much. It lasts forever. I have been using the same bottle for a year now and it is still not empty with no color change or consistency change due to age. This color is a very subtle natural reddish brown and very easy to apply. Color lasts even when gloss or lip balm is applied over it. If you can get past the price, you will be very happy you did!

This is the best lip and cheek stain I have ever tried! It's a thin gel, so it's easier to control than a liquid, and easier to blend than a solid. The color is completely natural. I think you could probably pair this with warm or cool colors and be safe because it's so neutral. It's perfect on the cheeks and on the lips; I wear it with clear lip-gloss. (It doesn't make the lips feel dry either.)
