Well 30 yrs later I found out, April 2008 my husband was hospitalized for 4 1/2 months in a coma due to an anuerysm. You can only imagine the state his personal hygiene was in by the time he was released from the hospital. I bought him Cuticura medicated soaps to use at home, which he did use but he didn't get excited about. I had a bottle of Spring Green Vitabath that I just put in the shower, he started to use that instead, and boy did I ever see a difference. This bath gelee took all that horrible dead skin off my husband in a matter of three days, all the scabs he had from his bed sores just virtually disappeared, he even used it as a shampoo, which very effectively lifted all the flakes from his scalp, you got to remember now this man hadn't had a proper bath for 4 1/2 mths. I was simply amazed at how this gelee performed. To be quite honest I never liked the smell of the original green, but after the miracle this bath gelee performed on my husband, this will ALWAYS be in my showers & baths at home, there must be some therapeutic value to this gelee. My husband always seemed to be a bit more alert after showering with this gelee, I can't say enough about this product, my husband will now only use this gelee, I only wish the larger sizes could go on sale more frequently so I can stock up, GREAT! Yes, VitaBath is a fine product, but I would strongly recommend that drugstore.com look at better ways to deter leakage in shipping. At the time, we knew it as Badedas and it came in the green scent only. Now it is offered in many different colors and scents and they are all heavenly. I love the convenience of the pump bottle. Three pumps into my running bath water and it gives a perfect bath. The product is soothing, relaxing, and has benefits for the skin. I'd give it 100 stars if they went that high. Pros

The gel is very thick; a little goes a long way. Stays well on brushes, loofahs and other exfoliators. The perfume is fresh but not overpowering. It leaves my skin feeling velvety soft and not dried out. I have been a lover of Vitabath for 30 years, and I will never switch. Pros
