My 86 year old Uncle has used Vitalis since he was a young Captain in the Army. He will use nothing else. I recently looked for Vitalis in all of my usual stores and none of them had it at the time, so I turned to old faithful, Drug Store.Com and there is was. Thank You.

This is the perfect product to help you look razor sharp. I use it daily to correct the dryness of my thick hair. It coats your hair in what seems like oil but somehow is not greasy to the touch at all. It adds a nice healthy shine and lets you comb your hair however you choose. When you're ready to go out your hair looks perfectly groomed like men used to do but it isn't stiff or unnatural looking like a gel. These old products work better than the modern ones and there was no need to improve on these. You won't find anything better.

I had low expectations due to another hair tonic product I have used that simply dried my hair out and provided no hold whatsoever.
Vitalis on the other hand provides decent hold and does not dry my hair out. It seems to coat my hair in a thin layer of a light oil that is not greasy and makes my hair feel soft and smooth. The hold is not very strong so it is best for folks who's hair normally lays the way you want. It provides all day manageability and smells pretty good.

My whole life I've tried gels, waxes, sprays and everything else to make my hair look the way I want it. Nothing ever made me happy until I used Vitalis. I have a full head of hair. My hair is fine and straight and Vitalis works great for any style I want. I always ended up shaving my head after my hair reached a certain length because of the frustration of styling problems. Not anymore. Vitalis is the best.

Vitalis is a good product, but don't expect it to hold your hair. I have thick hair on the drier side, and the Tonic really didn't do anything to hold it, just dried it out after a while. This should be used with another styling product if you're serious about hold. It does smell good, though.
