I have dry skin and rosacea, and I use this as a facial cream before bed and in cold, dry months. It is the best face cream I've found in a long time and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend it!
I have severe skin allergies and I use all the Pharmaceutical Specialties, Inc. products including the Vanicream products, RoBathol and Free & Clear. I use the Vitec as a daytime eye cream and night time all over face and neck cream. I feel it's too heavy for a day cream. It is very creamy and long lasting, I wake up in the morning and I can still feel the smoothness. I keep it in the refrigerator and splash my face with cool water before applying it. The cool really makes my face feel wonderful and helps keep the acne I suffer at bay. I use it in combination with the other Vanicream products and the dry patches on my face and skin tightness have completely disappeared. I have also used it on sunburns and chapped skin. Really a wonderful product that I couldn't live without. One tube will last me about 18 months. I love that it's absent of "nonsense" ingredients, I use it on my children as well. I have turned several of my friends into Vanicream believers too!
I use this at night as I find creams too thick and greasy. I really believe that it helps the skin on my face and hands look and feel softer. I like it better than many over-the-counter and department store nighttime moisturizers. I don't use it during the day because I need something with at least SPF 30.
