I have used the Vivite product line for over a year now. It was recommended to me by a nurse aesthetician. I have acne prone combination skin with some sun damage - mostly acne scars and sun spots. This product is an effective cleanser, removing dirt and makeup, that also smooths skin and evens out texture. I use it for my evening cleanser and it has improved my acne and discoloration. Because this product contains glycolic acid, it could be a little too harsh for the dry winter months. Also, this line can be a little pricey at med spas but beauty.com usually has great deals.

I love how this makes your skin feel so smooth after you use it. I do not recommend using it everyday.

Mynfriend daughterbwas an athlete and suffered from breakouts on face back and chest. She used this all over daily in the shower and her breakouts were gone in a week I highly recommend this for teenagers boys and girls who suffer from breakouts blackheads etc. I am 47 and use it weekly on my face and as an exfoliant all over when I feel I want to remove dry skin or go get a spray tan.

I really like this exfoliating cleanser, the beads are gentle and it really gets rid of all the dead skin and makes your skin polished and glowy. I find that if you use other acid type products or retinols throughout the week, you do need to be careful because this is an additional same-type product thrown into the mix and can send your skin over the top, ie make it irritated because it's just too much at once. It's strong stuff and I have had to balance out my routine because of it.

I used to beak out all the time but now after starting this product, I rarely have a problem anymore. I read about this product in an article about what dermatologists use on themsleves.

I am in my 30's and still have bad acne scares!!!! This is the greatest face scrub I have ever tried, and trust me I have tried them all!! I don't think its great for sensitive skin tho...could be kinda rough.

I originally purchased Vivite cleanser from my MD's office because she recommended it & I trust her recommendations. Vivite Exfoliating Cleanser is a perfect combination of mechanical and chemical exfoliants but it doesn't leave my skin scaly or tight. I have extremely oily and sensitive skin & I use Vivite everyday, twice a day but I don't know how someone with less than oily skin would fare. Even so, the recommendation is to use the cleanser 2-3 times a week so I don't think even the most sensitive skin would react poorly. Of course, the price at drugstore.com is better than my doctor's price of [$] so yay! drugstore.com is my number one resource for my Vivite Exfoliating Cleanser.

This is a great product and was recommended to me by my (absolutely fantastic) dermatologist. It has 15% glycolic acid, which is higher than normal drugstore/dept store brands. I use this per the directions, which is 2-3 times per week, however I use this on my 'off days' from my other retinoid treatment.

I have noticed that after washing my face with this product, my skin is noticeably smoother & brighter. I have sensitive skin but I do not have problems using this product.

I have tried many different methods to exfoliate my skin. Since I have gotten older (am now age 36), I have noticed that my skin does not naturally slough itself of dead skin cells that easily or quickly. This is by FAR the best exfoliating cleanser I have ever treid. It was recommended by a dermatologist. It contains exfoliating microbeads which help manually exfoliate, while also containing some mild chemical acids which also help exfoliate. Unlike natural granules which can have sharp edges, the microbeads are much gentler.

I only use it every two to three days, which is all you need. It rinses off clean, leaves my face dewy soft and fresh looking. The first time I used it my skin was a little red, but that quickly faded. I also have very sensitive skin. But now I never have that issue.

I really have no cons for this product, other than the fact that it is a little pricey. But since you don't use it every day it lasts a long time. And given the fact that it works so well, it is well worth it!!
