I've used this product many times and have had good results. I'm able to give myself a number 2 buzz cut every week or ten days that looks exactly like the cut I get at the barber (a barber charges about $15 for the same haircut). In addition, my wife will help out by trimming my neck every couple of weeks. Safe and easy, and I used the previous version of this product for years--that's a lot of savings over what I would have paid a professional.

I use the product to keep my hair neatly trimmed. Product works great. Lots of heads/guides to select any length you want. Great value.

[$] It's a little loud, but does the job perfectly. 5 years limited warranty?? It's a fine product. I bought a separate wahl ~5 years ago that was just a piece of junk, this is a DEFINITE improvement.

i got this sent to give some basic cuts for our deployed unit. we are a special operations unit, so we keep our hair a little longer than the average military group. but the guards are great...the longer ones come in handy for the operators who like to keep their hair the same length, but a little longer. the smaller guards are great for cutting fades. i haven't had any issues with this product...for those who complain about the loudness of these clippers, there is a power knob on the side to adjust the power setting. this is what controls the loudness...these are actually very quiet clippers if you have them set just right. this came in handy especially with the different power levels over here in Iraq. Overall, great product as usual from Wahl....

I recently bought these clippers as I was using a different brand but couldn't buy larger guides for it. I purchased the 1.25 and 1.5 inch guides and was really looking forward to using this product.
When I opened the package I immediately noticed that the nice "chrome" body trim pictured was nothing more than an ill fitting piece of silver plastic that keeps popping out of place during use.
These clippers cut hair fine but it is considerably louder than my other clippers.
I would recommend buying a more solidly built Wahl clipper.
