This Wahl haircutting kit works very well, it comes with a good amount of accessories and because of the more powerful motor it doesn't catch and pull your hair out. Some people say that it is loud and heavy, but I buzzed my own hair to an even length with it and it really wasn't very noisy at all. Also, my arm never got tired.

The first time I used these clippers was a disappointment. I have short hair to begin with and the clippers snagged on my hair quickly. I had to take apart the clipper blades to get them to work. The clipper's don't give you a close shave either. As for oiling to cut, I had to use my M-16 oil to get them to cut thru a 2 for hair. I will be throwing these away before I get back to the states. They were a waste of my money. I would not recommend these to other soldier's looking for even just a simple cut.

I have never in my life cut my own head hair. When I used the instructions, I gave myself a PERFECT "Crew" cut !!! Better than the barber I USED to go to. This will save anyone hundreds of dollars and more in haircut charges. LOVE IT !!

been using this for 3-4 years, giving myself and my son crew or short hair cuts. works great. dont use to shave. also has great eyebrow trimmer which works easily. so for short hair cuts, i highly recommend. cant speak to other uses. saves me $40 month for me and my son to go to barber.

The lid snapped off the case, the detail trimmer broke and fell off. The only thing I can say good for it is a nice selection of attachments. It comes with more combs than older units I have purchased.
