I didn't expect much from these but I was pleasantly surprised. I have a maltese and shihtzu and their faces are a nightmare to maintain. They used to hide from me when they saw the larger clippers we have or if I even picked up scissors. This Wahl model is perfect. It is small enough to control around the eyes and "hide" in your hand yet works with just one pass. I have spent so much money on special scissors etc. and only wish I would have tried these earlier! Great trimmers and have purchased 3 more to keep around the house and car.

This is the 2nd Wahl product that I bought. I bought the ones that has different measurements for cutting pet hair. I have a tiny toy poodle puppy and this is the first time I've had a trimmer. 1st time I used a trimmer was the bigger chargable wahl. My pup was really scared of it, since it was big and bulky. The 2nd time, I used this and she was great about it! I guess since it's small and she was used to the sound of it, she wasn't as scared. This is so great to use! I shave her face, paws, tail area and chest/belly and this made it so easy! I think I will use this for the close shave and the bigger one for the overall trim of her hair.

It kept falling apart and the noise bothered my dog. Waste of money.
