Most eye drops presume you want to shrink the capillaries and remove the redness. I do not want those chemicals in my body as my eyes are very delicate and I have had many eye operations. All I want is a safe lubricant to soothe my eyes and add moisture. This product is as good as any big name brand at a much discounted price. They have virtually the same ingredients, so why pay more? I buy the two pack to save moeny because I know I am to use both of them in short order. I live in a hot dry climate and Need added moisture. I think anyone in a city or a dusty area or who strains thir eyes reading or staring at tv or computer screen, or on planet earth anywhere anymore, needs to take a break, moisturize their eyes, close them a few minutes, then start over, It is just common sense. If yours eyes went south as mine did, you'd begin taking care of them early, it pays off. This is an excellent product at a reasonable price.

I have used artificial tears in the past and found them soothing. But these drops actually hurt my eyes. I stopped using them after the second try. Now I'm using Systane Plus Lubricant Eye Drops, which are available from Drugstore.com. I was trying to save a little money and wound up wasting it.
