So I used to use t gel which works very well and I probably would still be using it. But I got tired of having to spend so much on a little bottle of it and then have to keep repurchaseing it. Also I was tired of the tar smell to. I have dandruff but in my opion it's not really bad I don't notice a major difference with this and t gel, When I'm combing my hair out after I shampoo I will still notice a flake or two here or there but i got that with t gel to so for me it's a really good alternative. It has a pleasent nice smell it lathers up nicely and is very affordable. The only "bad thing" so far that I notice about it is that I didn't use it for about 4 or 5 months it was just sitting and when I went to use it, it had seperated a little but a quick shake and it was good again
