This fluffy layer of cellulose absorbs and disperses fluid around the pad. All edges are carefully sealed to prevent linting (do not tear open pad). The final layer is a breathable barrier that helps prevent strikethrough.

Gently clean in and around the area with warm water and mild soap. Apply gentle pressure over the wound to stop the bleeding. If redness or swelling occurs, consult a physician. Apply medication, if required, to the surgical dressing and cover wound to protect it and absorb fluids. Apply the surgical dressing with the blue lining facing up and away from the wound. Use tape to firmly secure the pad. Change daily or as directed by your medical professional.
