You can buy this with an FSA account, but you can't buy vitamins or a bottle of aspirin! What a waste of money.

To all the previous reviewers who said it doesn't work, I think either your technique is wrong (need to lay your head down on it's side with the ear candle pointing up toward the ceiling, for example) and/or you need to use more than one candle on each ear. When I tried it I saw the wax inside the candle after cutting the remaining part open but I was still skeptical. Coincidentally, the next day I had an appointment with my primary care physician for a routine physical. The doctor used an ear scope to look in my ears. After looking in the first ear he started to go to the other but stopped and went back to look in the first, then he looked in the other ear and said "Wow! You don't have any wax in your ears. Usually people have at least some wax." I laughed and told him that I just used ear candles the day before!

These candles are a great way to clean out the ear wax that accumulates in my ears. These save me a lot of money at the doctor's office.

My husband used them. He observed no difference in hearing or feeling but whoa! Look at that wax! My daughter (for whom I bought them) used one on her sore, stopped up ear. No effect, but whoa! Look at that wax! Being uncertain, we burnt one without sticking it in an ear. Whoa! Look at that wax!

The wax is coated on the inside of the lower candle. We could even see marks where the wax was melting and running down.the inside. I am irritated, almost angry that I wasted money on these things.

When things get a little stuffy and my hearing is not up to par, I go for the candles. This is a two person procedure and I suggest you read up on how to do it beforehand. (CHECK OUT YOUTUBE.) It's not hard but must be done in a well ventilated place, have necessary correct supplies at hand and an aware person helping & watching the process. It will suck out the deep down wax and other debris out of your ears. Afterwards apply Wally Oil generously to complete the process & stop the itch. You would be amazed at what comes out. I use no more then one candle per ear at a time.

I bought these and couldn't wait to try them. I tried them, cut one open, and thought "Wow! these must be so effective, due to the amount of wax. Being a skeptic, I thought "let me burn one without sticking in my ear." well...same results LOL. Buy these and you'll see. Put one in your ear, and then burn one without putting in ear, then cut both open. LOL Fun but useless

Used them on Xmas day with the whole family. Not only did they work great, the family had a a good time doing it. Just be careful of the flame!

I could feel the relief while the candle burned. Provided relief not obtained from drops.
