After much research I settled on this flosser. My decision was influenced by function because I have tightly spaced molars/teeth & by price (I am a recent graduate.) My routine is this: After doing a plaque rinse, I use the flosser with a diluted mix of my plaque rinse + water before I brush then after brushing depending on time/need I alternate between regular water or water+mouthwash or water + whitening rinse to do my final floss. I use the low pressure tip daily and the high pressure tip once a week and also when I eat certain types of food.

I have to say since I started using this (2 weeks ago with daily use) my gums don't bleed when I brush (a sign of gingivitis) and my teeth & gums look and feel drastically different. I did not give it a perfect score for these 2 cons:
1. The water reservoir is small (I refill it 2-3 times per rinse) but I was aware of the size issue prior to purchasing so I can't complain too much.
2. WaterPik needs to design another tip that has a better angle to reach the surfaces of your teeth that are next to your tongue (hope that makes sense). But this issue can be bypassed by simply tilting/angling your head. So the 2 cons are really an ease of use issue.

In response to the issue of it being "messy" - I find that if you use this according to the leaflet instructions, i.e with your lips pursed or closed around it, that completely eliminates the messy factor, minus the occasions where I turned it on before I was oriented properly etc. Bear in mind, the water is pressurized in order to pass through all the nooks and crannys so this is a form vs function issue. In my opinion pressure is enough to get the job done without causing pain or discomfort. I would recommend the low pressure for daily use, high pressure on teeth over prolonged periods can cause issues later in life, that goes for both flossers and toothbrushes. As far as being too harsh/strong, remember to start with the clear low pressure tip so your gums acclimatize to the flosser. If you are anxious about it, try it initially before the flosser is fully charged so that way it is super low pressure. I did ok from the first use even on fully charged low pressure, no pain or discomfort at all. I also have very sensitive gums & teeth AND I have a very low pain tolerance.

Prior to this I had tried all manner of floss with sub-par results, this product has been the difference, it gets everything that a flosser would PLUS more!!
All things considered, I do love this flosser, so much so that I am back to order one for my boyfriend!!!

I decided to buy here as opposed to other stores primarily because of cost. I am a huge comparison shopper. This site is not only cheaper for the flosser itself but this qualified for free shipping! I received this in TWO business days!!

This Water pic is SOOOOO poorly designed I was shocked, because I used to own the larger model and it worked like a dream. Better than flossing and it feels good, and takes less time. Runs out of water water to soon. Battery does NOT hold a charge. Too tall to fit under most bathroom sinks for refilling. Hate it, should have brought it back!!!!

Comments about WaterPik Cordless Water Flosser, Model WP-360, 1 ea:

Ok, this is NOT the same as the home unit, so don't expect that. It's not nearly as strong, has no battery indicators, and does not have a pressure control option. I haven't had any issues with the battery like I've seen on other reviews and the resevoir holds plenty of water for a travel use item. It is hard to get under most sinks which is unfortunate, but the design is sleek, one piece, and pretty compact for what it is.

Comments about WaterPik Cordless Water Flosser, Model WP-360, 1 ea:

Received as a gift (by specific request) about a year ago. Worked wonders on the "food traps" around my wisdom teeth, except that I usually had to use 2-3 tankfuls of water.

But within a few months, the power switch failed. To its credit, the manufacturer replaced it without question (and without even asking me to send in the bad one). And now, the battery on the replacement won't hold a charge for more than a few minutes, and the power switch is failing again.

Comments about WaterPik Cordless Water Flosser, Model WP-360, 1 ea:

Being used to the clean feeling a water flosser gives, I began looking for a new one when the old one gave out.
Only drawback is its size: I used to pack my previous flosser in one of those amenity kits left over from the glory days of business class. BUT: the tips were missing when the package arrived, and the folks at Water Pik sent the replacements promptly, along with a nylon carry bag. They were very friendly (real person on the phone). It's a little larger than the one I was used to, but it works fine and is an essential in my travel kit.

I hate to floss. So I ended up actually needing periodontal work. Then I bought this product and it improved my gums dramatically. My dentist and hygenist are thrilled. It's quick and easy to use and feels great. The only problem is that it wears out after about a year. I'm on my third one. But considering how good the results are, I think it's worth it.

This was my first water flosser and it took a while to get used to. I find it hard to clean the backside of the teeth, especially the molars. It's design is smaller than other water flossers on the market, therefore, takes up less counter space. Because of its size, it can only hold so much water. I find myself having to refill it 3, 4, sometimes more times to get the job done in a single cleaning. The one change I would like to see in this product is that a cap or cover be provided for the flosser when not in use, for sanitary reasons.

I am down-sizing, so this unit is wonderfully economical in size. It works really well and can easily be packed in a suitcase for travel. I greatly prefer it over the larger counter-top, non-portable version. It works just as well and takes up less space. I don't mind refilling it if I need to.
