That is a big mistake; this does not replace flossing. I use this device 4 times per day, and I used to think it was getting my teeth spotlessly clean and there was no need to floss. Then one day I bought a scaler tool (the tool dentists use). After using the WaterPik, I scraped my teeth and still got a LOT of plaque inbetween teeth and near the gumline. It also prevents gingivitis and bleeding gums. Fast way to partially cleen teeth after eating better than brushing and little to no abrasion of the enamel. Pros

There should be some instruction on how to care for the hose to preserve it. Also, it is very hard to get inside the teeth with this tool. The old one was easier. Pros

My gums are a lot healthier and my mouth feels so much cleaner after I use this product. It was very easy to assemble and very easy to use. I have purchased the new model to give as a gift to my daughter, who has had a lot of dental work in the past. I know that she will be just as pleased as I am with this product and the results after her next dental exam. Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: This product has been one of the best I have ever purchased and didn't do it until a year and a half ago when I myself had to have braces at age 58 because of big TM J issues. Didn't know how children who have had braces made it without their very own Waterpik. Well worth the money and they have a 2 year warranty. So your investment is backed with a secure word the company gives you with that kind of warranty. I have been so pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to any parent for themselves, and especially for their children. You will not regret the purchase. Displaying reviews 111-120
