That is a big mistake; this does not replace flossing. I use this device 4 times per day, and I used to think it was getting my teeth spotlessly clean and there was no need to floss. Then one day I bought a scaler tool (the tool dentists use). After using the WaterPik, I scraped my teeth and still got a LOT of plaque inbetween teeth and near the gumline. Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: I have sesitive gums that bleed easily every time I floss. In addition, i have a couple bridges that are hard to floss in between. Waterpik Ultra solves both problems for me: As an alternative to flossing, it actually does a better job. My mouth feels much fresher after using it. It also cleans under and in between the bridges very well. Now, i don't need to floss any more, and both my teeth and gums feel much better. The best [$]I ever spent! Pros

Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: I like being able to adjust the amount of pressure. I chose this model because I was afraid the cheaper ones would not be as strong. So far I've only turned it to half strength so I'm very satisfied. I also like the features of this unit. You can store your pik in a closed container in the lid. The attach/release for the pik tool is very well designed and a snap to use. The unit is fairly quiet. The water tank is easy to remove, fill, and reattach and seems to hold just enough to go over every tooth. I'm glad I purchased this unit. I think it is worth the few extra dollars over a cheaper model. I can't think of anything I don't like about it. Oh, one last thing. I was afraid I was going to have to get a root canal because of a sensitive tooth. I think this unit has helped cear up the problem. I also recomend swashing your mouth afterwards with a mild peroxide solution or a rinse. Directions also say you can add a solution to the tank if you wish. Pros

For some reason The View was on and it happened to be Whoopi's birthday. She was promoting the waterpic as one of her gifts. So when my kids wrote up their Christmas list, my son wanted the waterpic from The View. Found the product online and it was over $100.00. Went on Drugstore .com read all the great review and Thank You, they were very helpful and the price was great. Comments about WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser, Model WP 100, 1 ea: My dentist recommended an irrigator for oral hygiene, stating it can even eliminate the need for flossing. I bought 2 units, one for my husband and 1 for me. It takes a bit of practice to avoid spraying the bathroom mirror and walls. It works well for getting in between teeth to remove food particles, and the flow pressure can be adjusted. I studied the reviews before making my purchases, & a deciding factor was the flow control knob on the unit, instead of the wand. There is a button on the wand that stops the flow when depressed, and starts it again when released, which is also a good thing. Pros Cons

The quality is very bad considering the cost. Hope they are not going to ask me to pay shipping for the repair within the warantee.So NOT recommend the product Displaying reviews 211-220
